We think Scoot Boots are brilliant because:

they are easy to handle, do not absorb water, cleaning is unbeatably easy and there are no wires, buckles or Velcro fasteners. Scootboots are also very light at around 250 grams per shoe, extremely durable and breathable. Water and small stones can easily escape. Scootboots are available in 22 sizes, including slim versions for narrow hooves. With a choice of 7 colours, they can be easily adapted to personal preferences. Scootboots have a good profile for all surfaces and are suitable for trail riding, jumping, carriage driving, dressage riding, endurance riding, but also as a patient shoe or therapy shoe 24/7. The Scootboots can be upgraded with mud straps for extreme conditions such as extremely muddy terrain. In the following short manufacturer videos you can see how easy Scootboots are to put on and how easy it is to change the front straps (toe straps).

Who we are:

We are a small company from Austria and sell Scootboots through our shop. You've come to the right place if you already have some and want to buy new ones, but also if you just want to find out more about Scootboots. We have horses ourselves and have been happy Scootboot owners for several years. Before that, we tried a number of hoof boots but never found the right one for us. It was always important to me that the hoof boots were easy to put on and easy to clean. I also never wanted a cumbersome fastening system or hoof boots that were constantly damp and smelly. With the Scootboots, we have finally found simple yet ingenious hoof boots. Putting them on is child's play, and cleaning them is not even worth mentioning. I simply knock the Scootboots together briefly after riding so that the coarse dirt falls off. Every now and then I spray them down with a hose or dip them in a bucket of water. As they don't absorb any water, they are immediately ready for use again, which is particularly valuable during the transition phase from shoes/shoes to barehooves. We mainly use the Scootboots for off-road riding and carriage driving. Friends of ours also jump with the Scootboots, but we prefer to stay on the ground. They have proved themselves enormously, especially when harnessing, because there is very little abrasion. Every driver knows that the abrasion of the hoof boots is far greater when driving a carriage than when riding. We have already lent our Scootboots to half the stable. Sometimes when the shoes have to come off for familiarisation with the herd. Or when horses lose a shoe as a temporary solution until the farrier arrives. Our Scootboots have been used 24/7 on horses' hooves as sick boots, for abscesses or to protect the hoof bandage. The price of the Scootboots is also good, they cost new what many other hoof boots cost used. You can buy Scootboots from us from a price of €150 per pair. Sometimes we can also offer you used Scootboots from customers or test returns.
