How test hoof boots are tried on:

• with clean/washed hooves
• on a soft surface such as straw, towel, mat, etc
• please try only 1 shoe on all hooves first, then both are not dirty if the size does not fit 

If the boot fits well by then, the actual testing with both Scoot Boots can begin. We advise you to always try out new Scootboots on the lunge first to check how your horse goes with them. 

Sometimes you have several horses or you need scoot boots for the front and rear and there are 2 sizes to choose from. Then it makes sense Fit Kit test shell to order for a fitting. Although these cannot and must not be ridden in, it is possible to determine whether the shoes basically fit the hoof shape and size. Of course, the test shoes and Fit Kit shells are also dispatched daily.

Prices and conditions

The test shoes are lent for a maximum of 2 weeks. The full purchase price must be deposited as security. The hire fee is €15 and will be credited if the shoes are purchased or exchanged for another size. If the shoes are returned dirty or excessively worn, the hire fee increases to €35. The borrower is liable for damage caused by improper use, accident, animal bites, getting on the horse or loss. The test shoes must be returned in the delivery box with all accessories. The borrower shall bear the return shipping costs. Test hoof boots must be paid for by bank transfer, otherwise the test fee will be increased by the transaction fee of €2. If the test hoof boots are not demonstrably returned to the seller within the agreed period of 2 weeks, they become the property of the borrower on the date of acceptance by the borrower and the transaction is treated as a normal purchase.
